Par 4

The 11th requires a tee shot to a rising fairway. off the tee you must carry a waste area. This is not really in play unless you hit a terrible tee shot.
A bigger concern off the tee are a string of bunkers centrally located in the fairway. Playing to the right of these is the safest play. There is room to miss to the left of the first pair, however that side brings the third bunker into play.
Beyond these bunkers the hole turns slightly to the left before straightening out again towards the green. It is a good 300 yards to carry the central bunkers on the fly. Take into account it is also uphill and I decided to forgo the driver and play it safe to the right of the bunkers.
Clearly my ball missed the bunkers by miles (gulp). It was safe though. Atop the fairway crest the hole flattens out leaving not much of a view into the green.
The approach into the green must avoid the single pot bunker to the left and short. The jelly bean shaped green falls off on all sides in a reverse punch bowl. This is especially prominent to the left and right. There is plenty of space for your ball to roll if you hit either of these false sides.
I hit my ball just to the left of the flag stick, maybe 5 feet. The ball failed to hold and I watched it roll, and roll, all the way down to the left where you see it in the picture below. Tough.
A view back down the hole, showing the sloping right side of the green.
