Par 4
345 | 317 | 295 | 267 yards
Like the 5th, the 6th hole is a brilliantly designed hole that can be played in a number of ways. A short par 4, going for the green here is a real possibility. The green is to the far right edge of the hole at the base of the dune in the distance.
A cross bunker bisects the left edge of the fairway at around 180 yards from the tee. Playing to the right of this bunker will leave a mid-iron and around 140 yards into the green.
The bunkering, which runs down the entire right side of the hole, is not likely to come into play- unless you find the bunkers lining the green.
A 200 yard tee shot offers a wide landing area on the hole for those playing conservatively.
For those playing a little further up, a small circular bunker in the center of the fairway awaits. It sits 60 yards from the green.
Beyond this single bunker the green is wide open on the left side. I hit my tee ball green high, but to the left. You can see my ball on the mound in front of the green.
Unfortunately I made a mess after my booming tee shot. It took my 4 shots to get down after being just to the side of the green on my first. A flubbed chip and 3 putts later, ugh. Still it was a fun hole to play.
