Streamsong Blue Hole 7

To see the entire write up go here

Par 3
203 | 188 | 176 | 97 yards

After playing the 6th you head east off the green, climb a little rise and to your right unfolds before you the most photogenic hole at Streamsong.  The beautiful par 3 7th.

A topography too good to pass up, the 7th hole feels like it fits in more with the Red course than the blue.  Still regardless of what course it is on it is stunning.  To the left of this hole, on the other side of the tall dune is my favorite hole on the Red course, the par 3 16th.

The 7th here is tucked into a flat spot surrounded on all sides by towering dunes.

From the tee on the Red's 16th you are offered a stunning view of the hole along with the clubhouse on the far side of the water.  This may be the best view of Streamsong.  While it may not be the best view and showing the immense scale of the place, it is the best "wow" impact view.

The green here on 7  is guarded on all sides by a trio of bunkers.  The green falls off pretty Beverly front left and right, so don't get fooled into aiming for the edges.

From the lower tees, you loose a bit of the dramatic downhill angle towards the green.

A long walk here across the sweeping bridge takes you across with hopefully just your putter in hand.  You have to cross back over this bridge on your way to 8.

A view from the green looking back at the tees on the other side of the water.
