The 8th features an elevated tee shot with your view dominated by three things: The hotel in the distance, sand and water pinching into the hole near the green, and closest at hand, a large bunker looming in the middle of the fairway.
The bunker is in play off the tee at right around 250 yards. Playing even to either side of it will leave around 160 yards in. Laying up short of it leaves 190 to the hole. Left of the bunker a finger of sand curls onto the fairway. This should not come into play off the tee as carrying it should not be an issue. Sand borders the length of the left side of the hole until you reach the water. The water is a good 330 from the back tees.
As you walk down the fairway you see the peninsula of sand that runs in from the left. A single small bush sits at its point. Just to the right of it is the central fairway bunker in this photo below.
The central bunker in the foreground stacks visually with the 2 green side bunkers. The water fronting the green should not really come into play as it stops well short of the green, however it does make you focus a bit on your second shot.
The green is protected both right and left by numerous bunkers. A dramatic false front repels balls not hit far enough onto this back to front sloping green. At 40+ yards deep make sure you take enough club and account for the elevation of the green from the fairway. Missing long is an option with a generous collection are behind the green. A chip from back there may not be the nicest thing though with the slope of the green!
