Stepping from the 4th green it is just a few short steps until the first par 3 on the course. The 5th hole sits atop a ridge and features a great view of the course and the hotel right behind the green of the tee.
The hole features 2 tee areas, just like the 8th on the Red course. From the left, the line is into the length of the green. Played from the right, the shot is more across the green bringing on a tougher shot with less depth to work with.
The green here is the deepest at Streamsong at over 70 yards! deep. It is very narrow though so you must be accurate. Missing to the left side is disastrous as a series of bunkers and a downhill run on that side will cause all kinds of trouble.

Missing to the right is less of a problem, unless you find one of the bunkers scattered on that side.
This is a really well designed hole. With the variability offered by the depth of the green, the multiple teeing grounds, and the winds that can hit you atop this ridge, the hole can play any number of ways. Sometimes more than one on the same day!
