Playing Rush Creek

I was able to take a half day today and get out to Rush Creek with my friends Kris, Chung, and Michael.

Rush Creek is always in great shape and despite the warm weather lately the same was true.  We played the twilight rate which was pushing it a bit.  We did make it through the round but I don't know if anybody behind us could have finished.

On hole 1, three out of four of us nearly landed on top of one another.

Kris having fun playing Robin Hood.

Chung and I played from the drainage cover.

Chung hitting a blast on 4

Hole 5 still has the shack for sale.

The narrow hole 6.  Chung and Kris both lost their balls somehow on this hole.

Vigen didn't but he probably wished he had.  Too bad he is not left handed.

Gerber hitting his drive over the trees on 8.

 Hole 10:

Chung's tee shot on 11.

 And Gerber's...

 The approach into 11.

Chung on his approach to 14.

 The dogleg on 17.
Chung and Kris chipping onto 17.

A view of 18 and the clubhouse from hole 2.

And the end of the day.

I shot an 84 today.  Drove the ball well but missed a lot of greens.
