Week 7 of match play and we found ourselves pitted against our arch nemesis- us. Our opponents did not show so it was off to conquer the course on our own and play against our handicap.
We played the back 9 this week. I shot a 40, which matches my course handicap of 4. Vigen ended up shooting a 54. Right now his 9 hole handicap is 10. With our round we ended up taking 4 points. The way you earn points playing against yourself is to match our beat net par on the hole from either of us. We managed to do that on only 2 of the first 4 holes so we only earned 1 point there but got the remaining points in the round.
With this round we have climbed up to 10 out of a possible 35 points so far this year. It doesn't look like we are going to be repeating as champions.
