Golfing Rush Creek

Rush Creek offers a free round of golf for your birthday as long as you purchase a cart.  You can play any time a week on either side of your birthday.  I took Tuesday off and went out to play this great course.  The course was in tremendous shape.  Even though there were not yet leaves on the trees the fairways and greens were in mid-season shape.  A testament to the quality of the upkeep of this place.  With a normal rate of $90+ I guess you should expect an immaculate course.

It was a bit chilly but the sun was out and there was very little wind.  The amazing thing was once I got onto the course I did not see another person until hole 15 when a single caught up to me. I let him play through and other than him not another person was on the course.  With no one else around I played 2 balls all day.  One white and one yellow ball.

This was the first round where I felt like my swing was coming around after taking the winter off.  Putting on these greens is a joy and I was hitting things pretty well.  I ended up carding 2 consecutive rounds of 80.  My first round was 39-41 and my second round was 40-40.

Here is a course review in photos.
