A new year is upon us

Happy 2012!.  Last weekend was the Minneapolis Golf show at the Minneapolis Convention center.  I have not been to one of these shows for some 6 or 7 years and it was interesting to go see what was there.  2nd Swing Golf took up a huge portion of the show with the rest going to trade show booths with some interesting golf destinations, both close and far.

One place looked really neat, Bully Pulpit in Medora North Dakota.  The course is set in the Black Hills and looks pretty amazing, if only for the scenery.  I am going to try check that out sometime.

There were some interesting simulators and swing analysis. However it seems like a waste to me to try have your swing analyzed after not having swung a club in months.

One last interesting tidbit is a place called Totally Driven in Oakdale.  They offer complete club fitting and golf fitness programs.  I might have to check them out sometime.
